Following collaborations with French designer Amélie Pichard and cult-classic label MARNI, sustainable sneaker brand VEJA now looks in-house to expand their outdoor offering with the Fitz Roy.
Marking the label’s first-ever hiking shoe, the Fitz Roy is, of course, injected with VEJA’s design ethos. The pair is crafted from ecological materials with sustainability and durability at the forefront and features VEJA’s new technical material Trek-Shell, made from 100% recycled polyester.
Built for trekking, the Fitz Roy is additionally equipped with a solid and stable sole and a Rock Plate made from 53% sugar cane. Additionally, the pair’s resistant Trek-Shell upper is treated with PFC-free durable water repellent and fully recycled. Lastly, the pair is made in Brazil with 43% of the materials being bio-based and recycled.
The VEJA Fitz Roy is available to purchase now in five different colorways via veja-store.com and select retailers for $245. For more drops, check out our Sneaker Release Dates Calendar.
