Some of us wear our shoes until they simply cannot be worn anymore. However, instead of throwing them away, you should consider donating them. They may not be of any use to you, but the Nike Reuse-a-Shoe campaign takes these worn shoes and grinds the material down to create Nike Grind. This recycled material is then made into various sport courts, which are already in place in 450,000 locations around the world. Since 1990, 28 million shoes have been reused.
