Virgil Abloh is busy, this much is true. Making time for his buds in Beaverton often, his recent take on the Nike Mercurial Vapor 360 Cleat saw him dabbling in his childhood sport of choice: soccer.

Lucky for us, our friends at Kicks to the Pitch were able to provide some good commentary on the designer’s first foray in futbol.

Angled in orange, perhaps the most compelling feature on the shoe is the polka dot printing. At first, you’d assume this is Virgil’s sense of humor/style adding decorative flair. Nope. The idea is actually to enhance foot-eye coordination by playing to striking spots on the cleat.
