In a highly anticipated match up, the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers will go toe-to-toe for the third straight year in the NBA Finals. The action on the court during the Finals will surely be must see television but the same can be said about the various signature and PE sneakers players will be wearing throughout the best-of-seven series. Even more so now that Warriors All-Star Draymond Green will be debuting the Nike React Hyperdunk 2017 Flyknit during the Finals.
This is the latest version of the popular Nike basketball shoe, which Green will wear in a grey/royal colorway. The Nike React Hyperdunk 2017 Flyknit features a pressure-mapped outsole, which improves traction on the court. The upper is made up of Flyknit technology that allows the sneaker to have breathability and targeted stretch. The all-new Nike React cushioning provides responsive energy return, comfort and support.
With all of these updates to the Hyperdunk, Green is understandably very hyped to be the first player to wear the sneaker.
“To be the first to wear the latest Hyperdunk means the world to me, we’re talking about Nike Basketball here, the biggest athletes in the world and being the first one to actually try this new technology is amazing. Mom, I made it. When you’re talking about Nike, you’re talking things that last for decades,” says Green. “This shoe is lightweight, it has a resilience in it. It has the bounce so it keeps me sprinting and moving around just like I want to.”
No release date for the Nike React Hyperdunk 2017 Flyknit has been announced yet, so until the Swoosh provides more information, we just have to watch Green play in them throughout the Finals.
