Produced alongside Chilean artist, Wasafu, the shoe inherently represents a nomadic people – specifically the Ona demographic of Patagonia. For centuries they migrated in seek of greater opportunity and hope, equally retreating from unforgiving conditions and harsh terrain. The shoe’s pattern pays tribute to their unique ability to expressive themselves through indigenous and ceremonial body paint.
