Paying tribute to the Big Apple and Will Smith’s second home, the East Coast Project pack channeled two of Fieg’s favorite cities and drew color inspiration from their iconic sports teams. Like previous collabs, the kicks were composed of premium materials and featured corresponding clothing collections. Both models debuted updated footbed inserts and released at Kith’s first pop-up shops.

Said to be a sample that Fieg worked on for years, the “Flamingo” Gel Lyte IIIs are certainly a sleeper in hindsight. Electing ash as the topic tone on the upper, salmon and blue accents capped off this colorway that released at KITH on August 2nd, 2013.
