Mache launched his first signature sneaker, the Mache Runner back in 2020 and the sneaker continues to grow in popularity and momentum with every release, even teaming up with the likes of Jeff Staple on a collaboration. And Mache is dropping a “What The” themed colorway of the Mache Runner with represents his 20-year milestone as a custom artist.

“Having such a long career I’ve seen the growth and popularity of custom sneakers over that time. I’ve been fortunate to work with so many amazing people, brands and organizations but my biggest accomplishment was betting on myself and creating my own lane with my own brand. What better way to celebrate this personal milestone than to drop a special colorway of my own shoe I can share with all the people who have supported me to get myself here in 2022” says Mache.

The sneaker is a culmination of Mache’s career and mashes up his first 13 colorways. The mismatched look with different materials and colors are featured throughout the sneaker with Mache’s signature stitched on the tongue and a “WTM” tab seen on the lateral side of the sneaker. The Mache Runner uses a white Vibram midsole with grey paint splatter and grey Vibram outsole to finish off the sneaker.

The “What The” Mache Runner will be available for preorder starting on April 22nd via machecustoms.com with a retail price of $325.
