The Round Mound of Rebounds bounced from Phoenix to Western Conference rival Houston Rockets who grabbed two rings in two consecutive years. The problem however was that at the time of the move, Nike had already produced a number of Nike CB 34 2’s in Phoenix Suns colors complete with a 34 stamped on the side of the product to match Barkley’s jersey. Unlucky for Nike, and Chuck, someone else with some seniority named Hakeem the Dream already had dibs on that number as well as kicks that sported the number too.
