In an era of footwear where excess, superfluous design and copycat techniques are in vogue, adidas Football’s NEMEZIZ 19 confidently bucks all trends to deliver what matters on the pitch: innovation and performance.

Upon first glance, the design of NEMEZIZ 19 communicates simplicity and speed – a primary focus Senior Design Director, Dave Surace.

Key innovations include a split outsole and integrated Torsion System to keep the most aggressive players balanced and a V-shaped tape collar offers easier entry than previous models and provides ankle support without limiting movement.

However, the standout feature of NEMEZIZ 19 is an optimized weave pattern that the franchise is known for. NEMEZIZ 19 uses tension tape with zones of tightness and flexibility to create an all-new on-foot fit that maximizes a player’s ability to quickly stop and change directions.

“The new bandage wrapping on the NEMEZIZ 19 molds to your foot. You’re one with the boot. You definitely get a good touch on the ball and you feel everything,” states USMNT’s Weston McKennie who has been playing in prototypes of the boot since early April.

The NEMEZIZ 19 will be worn by players such as Messi, Isco and Firmino. Messi will wear a low top, laced version of the boot and we can look forward to him wearing exclusive colorways this summer throughout the 2019 Copa America tournament.

The NEMEZIZ 19 launches in stores and online today as part of the latest 302 Redirect boot pack, alongside Predator, Copa, and X silhouettes in an electric red and silver colorway.
