Just as interesting as the Air Jordan 1 itself is the story behind the development of largely the most important shoe in sneaker history.
Before the shoe’s original release in 1984, the design process stands as the inception of the “Wingless” Air Jordan 1. A concept left on the cutting floor, the style that lacked the classic wings logo finally made a proper retail release last year. Now, more colorways are due in stores next spring.
The three colorways seen here are all scheduled to release early next year. Each denotes a style similar to traditional Air Jordan 1’s that have gone on to become classics. Will any of these share a similar fate? Take a look below and share your thoughts.
