Reports from TMZ have just come in that a woman was stabbed outside of a Los Angeles Foot Locker location during a Nike Dunk release.
Located on Melrose Avenue, the incident occurred at approximately 2:25 p.m. on Wednesday, February 16, 2022.
It was regular business for Foot Locker as they had customers lined-up outside the store for a release. An eyewitness told TMZ that there was an argument between two separate parties that were in-line for the Dunks. The argument led to a physical fight, which resulted in a stabbing.
TMZ was also able to obtain a video of the altercation, in which you can see two women fighting. It appears that two men got involved, one of the men punching one of the women in the face. From there, the entire group erupts and a man stabs a woman before running off. The women are left there as the men flee the scene, with one woman holding her stomach as she yelled, “He f*cking stabbed me!”
The woman was taken to a nearby hospital, but her condition is unknown at this time. From the video, it seems that she was stabbed in the abdomen.
The suspect fled off in a Hyundai, but law enforcement sources have reported to TMZ that he has been taken into custody.
This incident comes just a few months after a similar incident occurred just across the street at Shoe Palace, where an employee was shot and killed.
We will continue to update this story as the case develops.
