Kanye West’s Yeezy line continues to climb in popularity worldwide with adidas and in the month of February it was at an all-time high. We analyzed global search volume in Google to not only look at the popularity across the globe, but also to compare it to the history of the search volume when he was with Nike.
Below are some key takeaway points to consider:
- The Yeezy line drew four times the interest in February of 2016 than in February of 2015 when the line debuted with the first release of the Adidas Yeezy Boost 750.
- Yeezy search volume was eight times as high in February of 2016 than in 2014 when the adidas partnership was announced.
- Yeezy search volume was five times as high in February of 2016 than when the “Red October” Nike Air Yeezy II released.
- The popularity of Yeezy is twelve times as high today than it was when the first Nike Air Yeezy was officially unveiled in 2009.
Will we see Kanye West’s Yeezy line continue to climb? Only time will tell, but for the mean time, things are GOOD for the king of G.O.O.D. Music.
