Yi Jianlian x Nike 1World Air Force 1

The latest Nike 1World Project collaboration, involving New Jersey Nets forward Yi Jianlian, will release this upcoming Sunday, May 17th, 2009 in China. If you recall, Jianlian was the 6th overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft.

The shoe itself contains a 100% off-white leather upper combined with a brown outsole. However, one of the more interesting features is the different textures it possesses on the base. For example, it uses a woven leather layer on the toe box and side panels, while containing a crocodile leather material on the toe area and heel panel. The latter area also features Yi Jianlian?s personal logo. As stated earlier, this particular sneaker will release on May 17th, 2009. Click here to view detailed photos.
