In the recent past, September 11th has undoubtedly been a day for mourning and remembrance of a tragic day in American history. However, this past September 11th was another one to remember in more of a positive way. Yesterday, Michael Jordan, the world’s greatest basketball player to ever step foot on the hardwood, was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. For the most part, everyone that had something to do with MJ’s career was in attendance. Teammates such as Scottie Pippen, Toni Kukoc, Steve Kerr and Dennis Rodman were there as well as former competitors including Isaiah Thomas, Charles Barkley, Coach Pat Riley and John Stockton (who was also inducted into the Hall of Fame). Although Jordan shed a couple of tears, this moment will forever go down as one of the more happiest and memorble moments in basketball history.
